This isn’t a sermon of how amazing the year will be but a fact talk on how we can actually make the new year worthy but DOING.

Yea…DOING; I  took a look at my last year and recalled that a few things I listed in Jan 2016 didn’t see the end of that year and this isn’t because I didn’t start but because at a point I gave up on DOING those new things I added to my resolution.

Its another new year and I took a sit to draft a list of a few new things I want to add and change (which is easy); as I wrote I was more worried about keeping up with this new plans over the next 20 days and the next 20 but as I wrote a few ideas came to mind to possible ways & so I share.

WRITE IT

Its said that when you write something on paper, both your eyes and hands make it much easier to recall; this is a good way to stay committed and consistent .

So get a note & a pen/pencil today and kick off.

KEEP IT

Keep is a note taking app by Google that works on PC via web, Android & iOS devices.

The reason this app can help is because it allows you to have a list with check boxes which you can schedule to pop-up every morning at a specific time or even a specific location.

With this you will be notified of your resolutions daily so as to keep you DOING.

This is highly recommended to people who live on their mobile phones. Get to your smartphone app stores to download for free or click HERE

SCHEDULE IT

Pending on which you prefer, you can get a wall or table calendar on better still use the calendar on your mobile phone.

This allows you to view your listed resolution every time you check your calendar and for mobile; using an app like Google Calendar allows you to set goals with time and description and you get a notification based on the time of the day to put for the activity you want to engage in.

STICK IT

I bet we all know the square shaped sheet of neon green or pink paper with the adhesive, allowing you to write on it and stick the paper to a plain surface.

Sticky note is also a good way to put your resolution on track. you can stick the note on your bed side and on your dresser mirror; just place your note at a location that your eyes can interact with daily.

PCs now have sticky note widgets and apps too.

So whatever your resolution for 2017, know that a day at a time DOING the things you make you better is worth the effort.

It might learning a new language (which I really recommend) or a new hobby; START & keep DOING IT.
